In 2016, Thomasville City Schools and Schneider Electric worked together to design a district-wide program that would put the district on the forefront of technology and energy efficiency, supporting their
vision of providing best-in-class learning environments. The comprehensive project addressed a myriad of needs from upgrading interior and exterior lighting with LED upgrades, to replacing mechanical equipment, to installing a centralized building automation system. In addition, the TCS students and SE
recently celebrated these strides in sustainability by hosting a tree planting event.
